Phius and PHI certify windows for specific climates. Make sure the certification covers yours.

Installed performance

Ask for the installation psi-value. How the frame sits in the wall insulation matters as much as the window's U-factor.

Manufacturer warranties

Each line carries its manufacturer warranty. Check the registration deadline: missing it can shorten coverage.

Common questions

Are triple-pane windows worth it?

In climate zones 5 and colder, often yes, for comfort and condensation resistance as much as energy. In mild climates, a good double-pane low-e window usually pays back sooner.
